A Cedar Rapids nonprofit established to help victims of last year’s derecho is now collecting items for victims of Hurricane Ida.
Together We Achieve is accepting relief items at their Resource Center on 27th Avenue Southwest from 4:30 to 6:30 pm through Friday. They’re also accepting monetary donations.
Some of the items requested include emergency items like roof tarps, roofing nails, extension cords, batteries, flashlights, masks and work gloves.
