A second man has been arrested in connection with an attempted weekend burglary in Tiffin.

Police say that 18-year-old Kain Wallace of West State Street in Oxford was also on scene early Sunday morning. At around 3:50 am, he was identified leaving the 100 block of Stephens Street after attempting to break into another person’s vehicle. Wallace fled on foot as a sheriff’s deputy identified himself, and disobeyed commands to stop.

A warrant was issued for his arrest, and Wallace was taken into custody Tuesday evening. He’s been charged with 3rd degree Attempted Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Interference with Official Acts. If convicted on both counts, he could be sentenced to 13 months in jail.

Police say that 18-year-old Cameron Neuzil was called in after the attempted break-in. The reporting party identified him, and a deputy located him on a nearby street. He also attempted to flee but was caught. He was arrested and charged with 3rd degree Attempted Burglary and Public Intoxication. He also could be sentenced to up to 13 months in jail if convicted.
