A Solon man was taken into custody earlier this week after he allegedly brandished a gun when exchanging his children with their mother.

According to police reports, the woman went to Eastwood’s bar on East Main Street just before 6:30 pm to pick up their two children. She stated to authorities that 35-year-old Scott Eastwood reportedly became confrontational and pulled out a black gun from his waistband. He displayed it and allegedly said, “Next step, he will get shot.”

Eastwood was reportedly referencing a man who had watched the children over the previous weekend.

He reportedly admitted to police that he pulled his gun out and displayed it to the woman. Eastwood was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault with the use of a Weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to two years if convicted.

A no-contact order was requested by the woman.
