A drunk driving suspect faces charges that he spit on an Iowa City Police officer and damaged a police desk.

Officers were called to Walgreens on 1st Avenue just after 4pm Saturday for three juveniles causing problems. The three allegedly spit at the caller, and one allegedly had a gun.

Investigators located one of the suspects, 18-year-old Cameron Neuzil of Oxford, at the nearby Kum & Go. He allegedly showed signs of intoxication, registered a blood alcohol content of .177%, and had two open liquor bottles inside his car.

Neuzil was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and Possession of Alcohol While Underage. While being processed, Neuzil allegedly spit on an officer and repeatedly kicked a $500 computer desk, causing a dent. He now faces additional charges of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations and 4th Degree Criminal Mischief.

If convicted on all charges, Neuzil faces a maximum of three years in prison.
