Cedar Rapids Police say a man fell from a downtown building, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
According to a CRPD news release, the man was reported to be hanging from the top of the four-story old Skogman Building at 411 1st Ave SE just before 11:30 Sunday night. He then fell to the ground, sustaining what police describe as “life-threatening injuries” from the impact. The man was then transported to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
