Johnson County Conservation Board to consider contract for solar panel arrays at F.W. Kent Park, Hills Access at special Monday meeting

The Johnson County Conservation Board will discuss and consider entering into a contract to build solar power arrays at two county-owned parks.
According to the agenda for a special Monday meeting, the board will review quotes and consider authorizing construction of solar array projects at F.W. Kent Park and the Hills Access. The board has the discretion of taking formal action, but it could also defer a decision to a future meeting.
Monday’s meeting is set for 10am at the Conservation Education Center at F.W. Kent Park on Highway 6 near Oxford.
