The Iowa Heartlanders will officially introduce the team’s National Hockey League parent club at Xtream Arena today.
By becoming an ECHL affiliate of an NHL parent club, the Heartlanders players have a fast-track opportunity to advance to the AHL and NHL.
Heartlanders President Brian McKenna and members of the NHL front office, including the General Manager of the yet to be named NHL parent club will be on hand for the announcement.
The event is open to the public. Doors will open at 11:30am and the announcement ceremony will begin at noon.
