A Kalona man has been arrested after North Liberty Police say he drove his minivan into a ditch while drunk.
Officers responded to the accident scene near the corner of Forevergreen Road and Jasper Avenue just after 11:15 Friday night. The 2003 Ford Windstar was found in the ditch with beer cans scattered throughout the vehicle. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Keifer Tadlock of D Avenue, allegedly showed signs of intoxication, admitted to drinking, and showed impairment on field sobriety tests. He refused breath testing.
Tadlock was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
