Former University of Iowa and Regina pitcher Sarah Lehman is transferring to DePaul.

That word comes from the Blue Demon softball program, which released a statement Friday afternoon. The release says Lehman will join the team for the 2022 season.
In 2021, the right-hander made 19 appearances and 13 starts for Iowa, including 10 complete games en route to a 6-8 record in the circle against a Big Ten-only schedule. Lehman threw 99 and a third innings, the most on the Hawkeyes pitching staff. Her 54 strikeouts on the season and opposing batting average of .241 ranked second on the squad. Lehman threw a complete game shutout on March 12 in a 2-0 win over Penn State in eight innings.
At Regina, Lehman was a three-time first team All-State honoree and won two state championships in four appearances. Lehman totaled 823 strikeouts in four seasons and set the record for most strikeouts in a single state tournament game with 22.

Lehman has two years of eligibility remaining.
