Allegedly sending what police describe as “sexual” messages to a 14-year-old girl has led to the arrest of an Iowa City man.
North Liberty Police say 69-year-old John Koch of Foster Road sent several text messages to the alleged victim around noon on April 11th. Arrest records indicate the messages were “sexual in nature and very disturbing”. The 14-year-old reported being afraid of Koch potentially harming her.
Koch was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 10am Tuesday and charged with 3rd Degree Harassment. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 30 days in jail.
