The Clear Creek Amana school district has announced that Superintendent Tim Kuehl is leaving the district to head East Union and Murray School Districts as a joint superintendent starting July 1. East Union is located in Afton and Murray is located in Murray, Iowa.
Kuehl has served as the superintendent of Clear Creek Amana Schools since 2013. His prior experience includes serving as the superintendent at Gladbrook-Reinbeck for five years and as an elementary, middle and high school principal at other school districts.
There is no word on the search for a replacement.
