UI presidential search committee to meet again starting Thursday

The University of Iowa Presidential Search Committee will meet virtually Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

School officials say the purpose of the meeting is to interview and evaluate semifinal candidates for the UI presidency. In accordance with Iowa Code, all interviews will be conducted in closed session and candidate identities will not be revealed. A total of 12 candidates have been invited to participate in the virtual interviews.

At the conclusion of Saturday’s meeting, the committee is expected to recommend a number of finalists who will be invited to campus.

Live streaming of the open portions of the meeting will be available at the Board of Regents website at www.iowaregents.edu.
