Columbus Junction man arrested after accused of stalking former girlfriend

A Columbus Junction man who allegedly harassed and stalked his ex-girlfriend after she ended the relationship has been arrested.

Police say that over the course of several months, 27-year-old Bradley Reiman of Iowa Street in Columbus Junction was in an intimate relationship with an Iowa City woman, but she ended the relationship, Reiman is accused of continuing to contact the woman over a period between November 23rd of last year and this Feburary 26th.

The victim said that Reiman parked on neighboring streets and walked to her house, called and sent regular texts, peeked in her windows, showed up unannounced at an appointment the woman had and blocked her from leaving, followed her in his vehicle, and entered the woman’s residence without permission. Police gave Reiman a harassment warning on Feburary 15th. On the 26th, he allegedly violated the warning by sending several messages and pictures, and tried to call the woman, all via Snapchat. Reiman reportedly admitted to contacting the woman.

A warrant was issued for Reiman’s arrest, and he was taken into custody Tuesday at 3:15am. He’s been charged with stalking and violation of a no contact order, and could be sentenced to up to two years in jail if convicted.

A no-contact order was requested by the victim.
