An Iowa City fast food restaurant manager has been arrested after allegedly keeping a customer’s credit card and using it at multiple locations the following day.

Police say the incident involves 51-year-old Russell Goss of Westwinds Drive. He is a manager at an unnamed restaurant, and on December 13th, a customer used their credit card to pay for his food and Goss allegedly did not return the card. The following day, he and a friend went to multiple locations over a six-hour time period and used the card. Surveillance video from some of the transactions shows Goss driving his friend to the location, selecting items, and the friend purchasing them with the reportedly stolen card.

Goss also allegedly identified himself in some of the surveillance videos.

Police arrested Goss on Friday and charged him with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card and 3rd Degree Theft. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
