Two consecutive 30-point games made it a no-brainer for the Big Ten Conference, who awarded Hawkeye Caitlin Clark Freshman of the week for the 9th time.

Clark, from West Des Moines, has only missed getting the award in the two weeks where the Hawkeyes didn’t see action. Her performances sadly weren’t enough to garner victories, as Iowa fell to 11th ranked Ohio State and 17th ranked Indiana.

Clark has also been named Player of the Week three times and given honorable mention twice.

Her next point will put her atop the university’s all-time freshman scoring list; she’s currently fourth on the all-time freshman assist list with 103. Clark also has a chance to break the Freshman of the Week record of 10 before the season’s out.

Iowa’s next game is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday night at Nebraska.
