The Jones County Sheriff’s Office, Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation are searching for two missing girls.

KCRG TV reports that 14-year-old Elizabeth Rodgers and 13-year-old Rylea Ostrander were last seen at Rustic Park in Lost Nation at around 4pm Thursday. Police say they found a backpack belonging to one of the girls at the park.

Rodgers was last seen wearing a Black hoodie with camo, tight black jeans and is described as having unnaturally rectangular-shaped drawn-in eyebrows.

A social media post from Midland Middle and High School said the students rode the bus to Lost Nation and walked to Ostrander’s home, then reportedly walked to the park. The two did not return.

Authorities are looking for a silver 2004 Silverado 2500 with the license plate “666YPI.”

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 319-462-4371.
