A North Liberty man was arrested Sunday morning after an alleged assault.
Police say the incident occurred at the North Front Apartments at about 10:40am. 21-year-old Cameron Bailey of Savannah Drive is accused of putting a woman in a headlock. During the assault, Bailey also allegedly put his finger in her mouth and pulled back the skin on her face and lip. The end result was the woman suffering swelling and a laceration to her face.
Bailey was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault causing Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to one year. A no-contact order was requested between the two parties.
