Williamsburg man accused of threatening North Liberty man with paintball gun

A Williamsburg man was taken into custody after allegedly threatening a North Liberty man with a paintgun and assaulting him.

Police say the incident occurred on Saturday just before 8:45pm at the Holiday Lodge Road residence of the victim. 24-year-old Steven Hradek of Hawkeye Drive in Williamsburg is accused of pointing a paintball gun directly at the man, putting him in fear of being shot by the gun.

Hradek also allegedly punched the man in the face, leaving a visible injury.

Hradek was taken into custody and charged with simple Assault, and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. He could be sentenced to up to 13 months in jail if convicted on both charges. A no-contact order was requested between the two parties.
