A Cedar Rapids man has been arrested on a warrant stemming from an October assault in North Liberty.
Police say 26-year-old Shea Henderson of 66th Avenue Southwest kicked in the locked door of a residence on Bradley Place on the evening of October 19th. Henderson is accused of carrying out his intent to assault the victim inside the residence. The door was allegedly destroyed in the process.
The victim suffered bodily injury in the form of redness, swelling and pain to the neck and upper body. It was determined that Henderson didn’t live at nor own the victim’s property and had no right to enter the residence.
A warrant was issued for Henderson’s arrest, and he was booked at the Johnson County Jail Thursday afternoon. He faces an initial charge of first degree burglary, which is a Class B Felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to 25 years if convicted.
