A North Liberty man has been arrested after a search of his electronics discovered over a dozen alleged viewings of a minor engaged in a sex act.
According to the arrest reports, 58-year-old Ricky Lee Fielder of Logan Court had a forensic extraction done on his unspecified electronic devices. During the morning of June 28th, Fielder allegedly viewed an image of a minor engaged in a prohibited sexual act or simulation 14 times.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Wednesday, and he was taken into custody just before 8pm. Each viewing is classified as an aggravated misdemeanor, and if convicted on all charges, Fielder could be sentenced to up to 28 years in prison.
