Hy-Vee has announced it has expanded COVID-19 testing to 12 additional Hy-Vee drive-thru pharmacy locations throughout its eight-state region, including one in Coralville and two in Cedar Rapids.
New testing locations include: The Crosspark Road Hy-Vee in Coralville and the First Avenue and Wilson Avenue Hy-Vees in Cedar Rapids.
Testing hours have also expanded at select Hy-Vee pharmacy locations, including the Lantern Park Plaza Hy-Vee in Coralville. Testing at that location has been expanded to Tuesday and Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
COVID-19 testing is now available at 165 Hy-Vee drive-thru pharmacy locations. Each pharmacy location can accommodate up to 12 patients per hour.
The COVID-19 tests and test results are coordinated by eTrueNorth. They’re free and are administered via a Hy-Vee pharmacy drive-thru testing process. Individuals do not need to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms to be tested, but they must register online to receive a test voucher number, testing site and appointment time.
