CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – September 29, 2020 – The Cedar Rapids Police Department is conducting a death investigation after an Iowa Department of Transportation employee located a deceased body alongside U.S. Interstate 380 southbound near Wright Brothers Boulevard SW. Police officers were dispatched to the area on Monday, September 28 at 3:52 p.m. and located an adult female.
The circumstances of the death are part of an active, ongoing investigation.
