A North Liberty woman was taken into custody after being charged with her second OWI.
According to police, 65-year-old Kathleen Mossman was involved in a traffic accident on Front Street at about 4pm. She allegedly admitted to drinking wine before getting behind the wheel of her Lexus.
Mossman performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and submitted to a PBT showing her blood alcohol level over the legal limit. A subsequent Datamaster test showed her three times over the legal limit, with a result of .253 percent. During testing, Mossman allegedly admitted that she didn’t think she would pass.
She was previously convicted of OWI in 2015. She was charged with OWI second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.
