The University of Iowa begins taking information for its 2020 Campus Climate Survey beginning today.

The Iowa Now website reports that every two years, the university asks its members to complete the survey to better understand campus climate when it comes to diversity, equity and inclusion. The survey also helps to establish a baseline for measuring change over time, moves forward with work already taking place on campus, and ensures that people of all identities feel welcome and supported.

The survey will be sent via link to faculty, staff, and postdoctoral scholars and fellows. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional students will not participate in this survey. They will complete the Student Experience in the Research University survey during the spring semester.

The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and will be open through October 2nd. Results will be made available to the campus community by the end of this semester.

Results from the 2018 survey can be found at https://diversity.uiowa.edu/data-and-reports.
