A Wisconsin Woman was taken into custody early Sunday morning after driving her motorcycle recklessly and being disruptive at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

According to police, 30-year-old Tiffany Meier of Potosi Wisconsin was observed by witnesses driving recklessly, doing burnouts in a parking lot. She then reportedly parked her motorcycle and walked into Mercy at 5:25am, where an officer came in contact with her.

Meier allegedly had bloodshot watery eyes, impaired speech and balance, and dilated pupils. She’s also accused of talking in a rapid, profane manner, and screamed at the top of her lungs while seemingly unable to sit still.

Meier allegedly admitted to being a user of methamphetamine and marijuana, but refused field testing. A PBT showed no alcohol in her blood; she refused blood or urine testing.

Meier was taken into custody and charged with first offense OWI, a serious misdemeanor.
