A Coralville man has been arrested after leading police on a chase through two counties Sunday night.

KWWL TV reports Linn County Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle with no working taillights at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 2nd Street Southeast in Cedar Rapids and attempted to make a stop. The driver, 26-year-old Frank Marquan Scott, kept going and got onto I380 and headed south.

Scott made it into Johnson County and exited at 120th Street, then continued on Highway 965. A North Liberty Police officer deployed a tire deflation device, stopping the car at the intersection with Zeller Street.

Scott is in the Linn County Jail, facing charges of Attempting to Elude, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended, and several traffic violations.
