Cedar Rapids Police say a man led officers on a chase from the city’s southwest side to Lake MacBride.
A CRPD news release says an officer tried to pull over a stolen vehicle on the 2100 block of Rockford Road SW just before 3pm Sunday. The suspect led officers on a chase from Cedar Rapids into rural Linn County, crossing over into Johnson County. The suspect was finally stopped and taken into custody in the 1700 block of Lake Front Drive, west of Solon near Lake MacBride.
The suspect’s name has not been released. There were no reported injuries.
