The City of North Liberty will start letting residents dispose of non-organic storm waste starting Monday.

In a release from the city, appointments will be available for residents to haul and dispose of their non-plant storm debris at no charge, at the city’s public works campus on South Front Street. Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance, and are available from 8am to 8pm in fifteen-minute increments.

Residents must be able to unload their haul themselves and be required to wear masks. The service will be available Mondays through Thursdays for the next two weeks. Call 626-5716 between 6:15am and 9pm Monday through Friday to set up an appointment.

City crews will be coming through neighborhoods over the next weeks to pick up tree limbs and brush that has been placed between the street and sidewalk. Residents can also bring debris to 290 Golfview Drive, just west of the public works campus and drop it off at no charge.
