Iowa City Police respond to gunshots on Taylor Drive

Iowa City Police are investigating a Sunday morning shots fired incident on the city’s southeast side.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of Taylor Drive at 12:30am after receiving a report of gunshots being heard in the area. Investigators located two shell casings in the roadway. There was no indication that any people were injured during this incident and no reports of injuries or damage have been made.

No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
