A Tiffin woman has been taken into custody on warrants stemming from a driving while barred stop.
Police arrested 53-year-old Dawn Blaszczyk on the evening of June 13th for driving while barred. They say Blaszczyk made admissions to being in the possession of meth. A subsequent search turned up 12 grams of a crystalline substance, believed to be meth. A glass pipe was also found.
A warrant was requested, and Blaszczyk was booked into the Johnson County Jail Wednesday afternoon. She’s been charged with driving while barred, a controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug stamp, and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted on all counts, Blaszczyk could be sentenced to over 37 years in prison.
