Coralville Police say a transient stole a running security camera that captured his image, leading to his arrest.

The incident happened around 6am on April 9th at a house under construction on Spring Rose Drive. Coralville Police say 40-year-old Ryan Piraro, who listed an address in Camache at the time of the burglary, entered the house and stole four drills, four batteries and a security camera. The camera was in use at the time, and captured video of Piraro stealing it that was used to identify him.
