The manager of an Iowa City restaurant faces charges that he assaulted an employee.
Arrest reports indicate 25-year-old Jason Kracht of Thistle Court, who manages Domino’s Pizza on South Gilbert Street, approached an employee about a policy violation just after 5:30 Friday night.
The two began arguing, and the employee threw her hands up to express her argument. That’s when Kracht allegedly grabbed both of her wrists tightly for about ten seconds while yelling about the policy violation.
Investigators could still see marks around the employee’s wrists about 30 minutes after the argument, and she complained of pain.
Kracht was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of one year in jail.
