One injured in early morning CR shooting

One person was injured in an early morning shooting in Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids Police say they received two different shots fired calls in the area of the 2300 block of Bever Avenue SE around 12:08am Wednesday. Within ten minutes of those calls, the CRPD received another call about a subject with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound arriving at Mercy Hospital.

The victim could not give an exact location for the shooting, and investigators were unable to find any evidence.
