A Middletown Delaware man faces possession charges after police stopped him for speeding in Coralville.

According to arrest reports, 34-year-old Geoffrey Newman was pulled over on the 800 block of First Avenue just before 1:40pm Friday. Police say Newman’s vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana. Field sobriety tests reportedly indicated that he was under the influence.

Newman consented to a search of his vehicle, where officers allegedly found fresh marijuana, THC gummies, several containers, a scale, and multiple pipes.
