The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says a woman drove her vehicle into two buildings in Oxford before her arrest for drunk driving.

Arrest records indicate officers were called by staff of The Dawg House Friday night for an intoxicated woman who was harassing customers and had struck two buildings with her truck. Customers were temporarily able to get the woman’s keys away from her, but she was able to get them back and tried to get back into her truck.

Officers arrived at the corner of Augusta Avenue and Main Street just after 11pm, just as the woman was backing out. Deputies say the woman, identified as 50-year-old Lisa Jones of Parnell, showed multiple signs of intoxication. She had an open bottle of Bud Light in the front drink holder, and deputies say she was unable to walk without stumbling , making her unable to complete field sobriety tests. She also allegedly forgot where she put her keys immediately after she was told to turn off her truck.

Jones was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated. If convicted, she faces a maximum of one year in jail.
