The city of Coralville has cancelled most of this year’s 4thFest activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the annual fireworks are still going on as planned on July 4th.
In a news release, city officials say additional information regarding the fireworks’ location, guidelines, and a special patriotic music radio show on 1630 KCJJ narrated by the voice of the Iowa City Community Band, Jerry Zinn, will be available in late June.
The fireworks will stream live on the City’s Facebook page. Rebroadcasts of events of 4thFest from previous years will air on Mediacom channel 118-8, online, and on the City’s Facebook page.
