Governor Reynolds has ordered that bars, breweries, and other alcohol-related businesses may reopen today.
Wineries, Distilleries and social and fraternal clubs are also allowed to reopen.
Each must limit capacity to 50% and social distancing must be maintained. Other specific guidelines must be met, and the reopening is not mandated. Customers are encouraged to verify that the establishments have decided to open to customers.
Earlier this week, the governor added the opportunity for bands and other musical artists to perform at the locations, again with social distancing and safety measures in place.
Today is also the first full day that the ban on foreclosures, evictions and debt collection activities is lifted. In a post Wednesday, the CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank posted on Facebook that just because the moratorium has ended doesn’t mean landlords can evict tenants; only a judge can lawfully do so. They encourage residents who need assistance to reach out to them at builtbycommunity.org.
