A Norfolk, Nebraska man died Tuesday night when his semi left the road in Cedar County.
According to state patrol reports, 66-year-old James Feyerherm was eastbound at the 261 mile marker on Interstate 80 at 9:05pm when his vehicle left the road, coming to rest in a treeline on the south side of the road.
Feyerherm was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The cause of death is believed to be an unknown medical condition, pending autopsy results.
The accident remains under investigation.
