Police who executed a search warrant on Taylor Drive Wednesday morning arrested a man for drug possession.
Numerous calls to KCJJ around 9am indicated that several police vehicles were on scene and the street was blocked off while the search warrant was executed at 2021 Taylor Drive. They made contact with 25-year-old Osean Horton, who allegedly told officers that he had a small baggie of marijuana on the premises. A search of Horton also reportedly produced a plastic baggie containing 30 ecstasy pills, which he admitted were his. Guns were also allegedly recovered, but details have not yet been released.
Horton has previously been convicted of PCS violations, in October and December of 2019.
He was taken into custody and charged with a Class B controlled substance violation and 3rd or subsequent possession of a controlled substance. If convicted on the charges, Horton could be sentenced to up to 35 years in prison. He was released at 3pm Wednesday.
During the search warrant execution, police also found 18-year-old Quentin Hitchcock, whose presence among the guns and drugs was a violation of his probation. He was also taken into custody.
