The Muscatine County jail has helped house the overflow at the Johnson County jail. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that the county has spent roughly $625,000 in fiscal year 2019 to do that.
Earlier this month, Iowa Capital Dispatch reported that Muscatine County Jail Administrator Dean Naylor posted that Muslims are at war with Christians and Jews, worship Satan unknowingly, and would kill anyone who doesn’t believe in Islam.
