Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon.
According to a release from the CRPD, officers were dispatched just before 5pm to the 2000 block of Bever Avenue Southeast. Upon arrival, they located a victim outside the premises and began administering medical treatment.
An ambulance was called, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital with what was described as non life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses were interviewed, but no arrests have been made.
