A Nordstrom Direct Fulfillment Center employee has tested positive for COVID-19, causing a temporary closure of the facility for a deep cleaning.
KCRG TV reports that the company, who announced the positive case on Tuesday, said the employee hasn’t been in the facility since March 26th and are contacting co-workers who may have been in close contact with or were exposed to the person.
The person who tested positive is being treated, and advised those who may have been exposed to the employee to self-isolate.
The company is using the closure time to put additional precautions in place to ensure social distancing between employees to help them stay healthy.
The facility is expected to reopen at 2pm today.
