A local transient faces charges that she used a stolen debit card multiple times on the same day at an Iowa City grocery store.

Iowa City Police say 42-year-old Tina Fults was captured on security video at the Waterfront Hy-Vee using the stolen card to make six different purchases between 9am and 10:45am on December 21st. Fults reportedly purchased store items and received cash back from the transactions. The amount of the fraudulent transactions was less than $1,500.

Fults was booked into the Johnson County Jail at 9:45 Tuesday morning and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card Under $1,500. If convicted, she faces a maximum of two years in prison.
