The former manager of the Muscatine County dispatch and communications center won’t see any jail time despite falsifying records while she worked there.

47-year-old Beverly Griffith admitted to faking hours on her time sheets…hours that investigators say she spent working as a bartender.

Griffith was charged with misdemeanor Tampering with Records last March. An arrest affidavit says Griffith recorded hours on several time sheets in January and February that she didn’t work because she was tending bar.

Court records show that on Wednesday Griffith pleaded guilty in exchange for a deferred judgement and two years of probation. She was also fined $625.

Griffith was hired May 31st, 2018 to manage the Muscatine County dispatch center after spending the past 10 years as a dispatch supervisor in Naples, Florida. She was placed on unpaid administrative leave following the allegations and resigned last year.
