A Coralville drunk driving suspect is accused of attempting to urinate on his arresting officers.

Coralville Police observed 44-year-old Frederick Rumble of 20th Avenue with his Kia Sorento parked over sidewalk on the 1300 block of 5th Street just after 2:45am Saturday. The vehicle was running, and Rumble was asleep behind the wheel with his seat belt on.

Police say Rumble showed multiple signs of intoxication. He also allegedly refused field sobriety and breath testing.

As Rumble was being arrested, he allegedly stated that he was going to urinate on the arresting officers. He then thrust his hips towards them.

Rumble was transported to the Coralville Police Department, where he allegedly unzipped his pants, took out his genitals and said he was going to pee. Despite his actions, Rumble refused to submit to urine testing.

Rumble is charged with Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd or Subsequent Offense. If convicted, he faces a maximum of five years in prison.
