A North Liberty woman was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon for an incident this past May where she allegedly threatened to assault a person and recorded herself on Snapchat entering the residence.
According to police, the incident occurred just after noon on May 28th, when 19-year-old Jada Pitchford of Jaylen Lane entered the victim’s Alydar Drive residence through a basement window without cause or permission. The victim was reportedly home at the time of the incident.
Police say Pitchford had threatened to assault the victim prior to entering the residence, and recorded herself entering the residence on Snapchat.
A warrant was requested for Pitchford’s arrest, and she was taken to the Johnson County Jail Wednesday on charges of 2nd degree Burglary. That is a Class C felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to ten years if she’s convicted.
