Allegedly driving drunk to his parole meeting has led to the arrest of a Lone Tree man.

According to police, they were called to the Department of Correctional Services office in the 500 block of Kirkwood Avenue Monday at 5:36pm for report of a drunken driver. Upon arrival, they were told that 35-year-old Ryan Lippard of Jane Street drove in for his probation meeting.

During the meeting, the official alleges that they could smell alcohol, and they asked Lippard to provide a provisional test. He allegedly registered a blood-alcohol level of over .220.

Lippard’s girlfriend, who was with him, allegedly confirmed that he drove the two to the meeting.

Police spoke with Lippard and allegedly observed bloodshot watery eyes, slow slurred speech and impaired balance. A post arrest PBT registered .161, with a Datamaster reading of .134.

Lippard has been charged with his second OWI, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a prison term of up to two years if convicted.
