According to the woman, 37-year-old Giovanni Paschal of Westwinds Drive had been in an intimate relationship with her for several months within the year prior to the incident. He allegedly had been asking to stay the night with her, but she repeatedly stated to him that he could not.

Reports allege that Paschal went upstairs, ostensibly to retrieve a water bottle, but instead came downstairs with a knife and began to assault the woman. He’s accused of punching and stabbing her, and pulling her by her hair across the ground.
