If you’re one of the people interested widening Interstate 380 to six lanes between North Liberty and Cedar Rapids, your voice can now be heard.
The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, November 6th, to discuss an I-380 corridor study from south of Highway 30 in Cedar Rapids to north of Forevergreen Road in North Liberty. Proposed improvements include widening I-380 to six lanes, active lane management considerations, and proposed interchange improvements at Penn Street, 120th Street, and Wright Brothers Boulevard.
All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30pm at the North Liberty Community Center, 520 West Cherry Street, in North Liberty. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
Visit the Iowa DOT’s project-related public involvement event website at www.iowadot.gov/pim for information about scheduled public meetings and hearings.
Again, that meeting is set for 5-6:30pm on Wednesday, November 6th at the North Liberty Community Center.
