The police departments of Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty are all investigating reports of car burglaries Tuesday night.
The ICPD released a statement on Facebook saying the suspects had broken car windows and taken items that were visible from outside the vehicles and were easily accessible.
One call was reported at Iowa Gym-Nest on Olympic Court just before 6:30pm.
The ICPD is asking residents to remove valuables from their vehicle and report any suspicious activity. A vehicle believed to be involved in the burglaries is described as a GMC Acadia with Florida plates.
